Secure Boot

Aemeath OS now supports the UEFI Secure Boot standard

Secure Boot has been added to the Aemeath OS image!

With Secure Boot, components of the boot process, such as the bootloader, kernel, and drivers, are validated before being run, protecting the system against tampering.

Disk images of Aemeath OS comes with a default key database that trusts Aemeath OS keys (for the OS) and Microsoft keys (for the drivers), which should be automatically applied on boot.

Existing Aemeath OS will need to either reinstall (backup your files), or download the disk image and copy the contents of its EFI System Partition to the system EFI System Partition.
