Aemeath OS is an independent, immutable Linux distribution, aiming to deliver a complete desktop experience. Aemeath OS does not come with a package manager at all. Instead, operating system updates are image-based, delivered atomically, and applied after a reboot. Encounter new issues in a new update? Simply rollback to the previous version!
Powerful, customizable desktop
Aemeath OS comes with KDE Plasma, a next-generation desktop for Linux. Simple by default but powerful when needed, KDE Plasma works really well with all sorts of applications and games, and is customizable with themes and widgets.
Container-first workflow
Aemeath OS uses Flatpak as the primary application installation method. Applications are easily installed from Flathub via Discover. Aemeath OS also ships with Podman and Toolbx by default, enabling access to development tools and command line applications without touching the base system.
